PRINCETON — Thomas "Tom" Brzezinski of Princeton passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born March 4, 1953, in Chicago to Eugene and Lily (Niemi) Brzezinski, he married Jeanne Broza on Aug. 30, 1975, in Hoffman Estates. She survives.
He was a 1971 graduate of Lane Technical High School in Chicago. He then took several management courses at local community colleges. He worked in middle management for several manufacturing firms before starting his own business as a painter, handyman and general contractor.
Also surviving are his parents of Harrison, Ark.; two sons, Robert (Ashley Schmidt) Brzezinski of Princeton and Joseph (Megan Burt) Brzezinski of Princeton; four grandchildren, Daelen, Dylan and Brettly Brzezinski of Princeton, and Logan Bailey of Buda; and two brothers, Ronald Brzezinski of Phoenix, Ariz., and Daniel (Anna) of Kenosha, Wis.
A Celebration of Life will take place at noon Sunday, June 12, at The Kompany, 432 S. Main St., Princeton.
