Heartland promotes Lessner as mortgage banker

Heartland Bank and Trust Company has promoted Helen Lessner as mortgage banker to serve local customers.

She most recently worked in the bank’s Retail Banking area as a retail lead. In her new role, Lessner serves customers in the Hampshire, Huntley, Genoa and Schaumburg communities and is based at 819 Warner St. in Hampshire.

She is responsible for assisting customers with residential lending needs, including new home mortgages, mortgage refinancing, second mortgages, and home equity loans and lines of credit.

Lessner is a graduate of the Waubonsee College Leadership Program, and is involved in local community events such as parades, business expos and chamber of commerce events. She is a native of Milwaukee and now makes her home in Huntley with her husband, Kurt, and two children, Cheyenne and Daulton.
