PRINCETON — First State Bank has announce Tim Kunkel as community president of its new branch located at 680 W. Peru St. in Princeton.

Kunkel has been in the banking industry for 30 years. Serving Princeton for the past 23 years, most recently as a commercial and agricultural lender, Kunkel has been active in the Princeton and Henry Chambers of Commerce and Rotary. He coached several Bureau County Blaze softball teams and is a graduate of St. Bede Academy. Born and raised on a 1,000-acre dairy farm north of Granville, he currently resides in Princeton with his wife, Cheryl, and daughter, Tara.
