ROCK FALLS – Brian Bell, 58, of Rock Falls, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at his home.
Born June 12, 1958, in Sterling, a son of Roy Bell and Betty (Cox) Nance. He was an automotive sales consultant for many years. He enjoyed cooking, singing, fishing, and dancing. He was an avid Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, and Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include his father, Roy Bell Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana; daughters, Vanessa Bell of Sterling, Alicia (Cory) Olalde of Rock Falls, and Brianna Bell of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; sisters, Wynona Wirth of Florida, Linda McGahan of Oklahoma, Dawn (Steven) Bellows of Rock Falls, and Mary (Jerry) Epson of Princeton; brothers, Larry Bell of Houston, Chuck (Rose) Bell of Sterling, and Roy Bell Jr. of Laplace, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Alexis, Jonaiya, Jordyn, Paulina, Olivia, and Brittany; and one great-grandchild, Eli.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; and a sister, Peggy Bell.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Brian Tribley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
