Tiny Mites vs Robbins Cal Park Eagles: The Oswego Bears lost their first game of the season. Aiden Conner, Jacob Cale, Kenny Robertson and Ethan McGee made several key blocks for the Bears. Quarterback Zachary Gilson had several good runs. Defensively, Luke Hernandez and Cameron Logan created all kinds of chaos for the Eagles backfield. Aidan Cullen led the team in tackles.
Mitey Mite vs Lockport Jr Porters: The Oswego (4-0) did not allow a first down all day. Linebackers Damien Lewandowski, Jayden Kersh and Brayden Swanson bottled up the Jr Porters offense every time they ran a play. On offense, the Bears leaned heavily on Brogan Mello (two TDs) and Dominic Batista (two TDs).
Jr PeeWee vs Robbins Cal Park Eagles: The Oswego Bears won 32-0. Jackson Gillen striped the ball from the Robbins running back and scored the first touchdown. Zac Clarke punched in another TD. Chase Gerwig connected with Gillen for the extra point. Gillen scored his second TD of the day after an Eagles turnover on downs. Tyler Bibbs and Christian Martyn also scored. Chris Dicosola, Andrew Wiggins, Nick Tickle and Zac Clarke added a sack each and Chase Gerwig had his fourth interception of the season.
PeeWee vs Lockport Jr Porters: The Oswego Bears lost 26-0. Jackson Fuller and Eamon Cain provided excellent blocking for Matt Gandy, Matt Rodarte and Colin Rowe who had many yards rushing. Casey Krahula, Connor Mannis, Pierce Rowley and Ronan Cornelius led the defense in tackles.
JrVarsity vs Robbins Cal Park Eagles: The Bears lost 13-6. The defense, led by Dylan Scott and Cole Hansen, was able to shut out Darien during the last three quarters. The offensive line of Noel Alvarez, Jackson Robertson, Matthew Engelke, Sergio Jaimes, Jacob Plohr held strong with help from Jordan Logan and Tyler Bibbs, Austin Johnson was able to score the Bears sole touchdown.
