WALNUT – Robert E. Noble, 90, of Walnut, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at Heritage Health of Walnut. He was a carpenter and owned and operated his own construction business for many years.
He was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Fleming, New York, the son of Perry and Velma (Landers) Noble. He served in the Navy as a seaman first class during World War II from 1944 to 1946. He was a member of Walnut Bible Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Dorie (Robert) Lange of Walnut; his son, Layne Noble of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Debbie Borders; a son, Larry Noble; one grandson; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, and the funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at Garland Funeral Home in Walnut, with the Rev. Eldon Cook officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Walnut Cemetery.
A memorial will be established.
