Meet Dr. Sabet Siddiqui of Oncology MDs

The Mayo Clinic is recognized for high-quality patient care more often than any other academic medical center in the nation. Think about that for a moment.

If a highly regarded doctor from the world-renowned Mayo Clinic were to refer patients to a local doctor, wouldn’t that doctor be your best option for care?

Undoubtedly.

That local doctor is Dr. Sabet Siddiqui, MD, Hematology/Oncology and his Oncology MDs., Inc., office in DeKalb.

Dr. Eugene Kwon, MD, of the Mayo Clinic, has been referring patients to Dr. Siddiqui for more than 10 years now. Dr. Kwon continues to make amazing advances with cancer-finding techniques, which are helping to extend lives, while Dr. Siddiqui is also helping many patients by offering a variety of health care services, including chemo infusion and radiation therapy.

“I like to be upfront with our patients,” Dr. Siddiqui said. “What their prognosis is, what are the newer things that are going on, how well they understand things from a medical standpoint and I take my time to explain to them. I always like for family members to be present at that time. It’s a better thing in the long run.”

For more than 20 years, Dr. Siddiqui has done just about everything possible to make the treatment he provides comforting, with expert and compassionate care in a calm and safe environment.

Dr. Siddiqui is a graduate of Osmani Medical College, India.

He trained in medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, in internal medicine at Columbus Hospital, Chicago and his fellowship in medical oncology at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center also in Chicago.

Dr. Siddiqui is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

He welcomes all new patients and sits down with them for a one-hour consultation. His office accepts Medicare and most private insurance plans.
