GRANBURY, Texas – Mary Ann Williams, 86, of Sterling, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Quail Park Nursing Home in Granbury.
Mary Ann was born June 11, 1930, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lawrence and Jennie (Mortimer) Olds. She married Robert Williams on Aug. 10, 1947, in Rock Falls. He preceded her in death Nov. 15, 2008. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Christian Church in Rock Falls.
Survivors include one son, Larry (Judy) Williams of Palmetto, Florida; two daughters, Sheryl Ann (Dennis) Harvey of Glen Rose, Texas, and Sheila (Tim) Wolf of Sterling; one brother, Gary (Nancy) Olds of Onalaska, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren, Mark (Jen) Williams, Angie (Brent) Frederick, John Harvey, Bill Colclasure, Rodney (Melissa) Colclasure, Jeremey Harvey, Denise (Justen) Scurlock, and Cammy (Jamie) Dykstra; 18 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and three nieces, Lori (Larry) Hougom, Jen Olds, and Pam (Paul) Petersen.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, Donald Olds in infancy; one sister, Erma Olds; and one grandson, Jeffrey D. Harvey.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, and the funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, with Pastor Tanya Tyler of First Christian Church in Sterling officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer’s Association.
