ROCK FALLS – Stanley “Kim” Egan, 62, of Rock Falls, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at his daughter's home, after an extended illness.
Stanley was born Sept. 17, 1954, in Sterling, the son of Stanley and Rosemary (Kelly) Egan. He was married to Vickie Comer of Rock Falls for 11 years. Stanley was employed as a tool and die maker for most of his career at RB&W Manufacturing in Rock Falls, and later at Allied Locke Industries in Dixon. He was an avid painter, enjoyed playing his guitar, collecting model trains, and most of all, spoiling his grandkids.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelly (Mike) Rogers of Bettendorf, Iowa; one sister, Mary Kayla (Rick) Engelkens of Morrison; two grandchildren, Lucy Mae Rose Rogers and Bennett Michael Rogers of Bettendorf, Iowa; one nephew, Corey (Angie) Barnes Sr. of Rock Falls; and one niece, Cendra (Roger) Engelkens of Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sterling.
