The Yorkville Judo Club entered eight players at the Wisconsin State Judo Championships hosted by Wahadachi Judo Club at Milwaukee. Yorkville won three gold, one silver and two bronze medals. Thirteen-year-old Nate Perez entered two divisions, 11-12 and 13-14 year old, winning gold in both. Sensei Rick Undesser came out of retirement and won gold in the Masters 211-pound division. His son Rick won silver in the 132-pound 13-14 year old division. Ian Kiilsgaard entered the 113-pound 11-12 year old division and won the bronze. Ryan Lambert also won bronze in the 144-pound 8-9 year old division. Also entered were Makayla Undesser, 91-pound 9-10 year old girls division; Sam Sleezer, 62-pound 9-10 year old boys division; and 15-year-old Ethan Loeffelholz, 146-pound senior novice.
