High school boys water polo: McHenry falls to St. Ignatius in Palatine Tournament

McHenry’s boys water polo team opened its season Friday with a 17-10 loss to St. Ignatius in the Palatine Tournament.

McHenry was led by Tyler Hemphill’s four goals. Mike Matusek added three goals, Jonah Smith had two, and Riley Hedberg had one. Adam Starus made 17 saves for McHenry.
