Paul and Kay Grieve to note 60th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Grieve of Buda will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary.

Paul Grieve and Madelyn Kay were married April 21, 1957, at the Elmira Presbyterian Church in Elmira, where they are still members. Bill Marshall was their best man and Evelyn Musselman was their maid of honor.

They are the parents of five children, Dawn (Dave) Milburn, Bill (Pat) Grieve, Angela (Brent) DeVenney, Laurie Bitting and Brenda (Ron) Skaggs. They also have 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.

They have farmed all of their lives. Paul retired from the Neponset Elevator and Kay worked as a hair dresser at the Toulon Nursing Home. Kay still gives haircuts to many in her family. Paul and Kay’s home has always been filled with love and laughter. They have gone on many family vacations to Minnesota, taking almost every family member of the family with them at least once.
