Circuit Judge Hull announces election campaign in St. Charles

ST. CHARLES – Circuit Court Judge Clint Hull announced his 2018 election campaign at an event April 19 at Hotel Baker in St. Charles.

Last year, he was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the position of circuit court judge of the 16th Judicial Circuit in Kane County, 4th Judicial Subcircuit, encompassing Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles and parts of South Elgin and North Aurora. The election for that post is set for March 20, 2018.

“I have been blessed to have had so many people throughout my life help me and my family personally and professionally, and I have a responsibility to give back,” Hull stated in the release. “I have tried to do that through serving the community: coaching, refereeing, the St. Charles Park District Board, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club. I love this community … I love my job.”

Hull, who has been a Kane County judge since 2009, is a lifetime St. Charles resident, a news release stated. Currently, he oversees Kane County’s juvenile court, as well as its mental health court.
