FULTON – It’s time again to celebrate this river city’s Dutch heritage.
The 43rd annual Dutch Days Festival’s theme is “Chocolate The Dutch Way,” and events are set for Friday and Saturday.
Arts and crafts vendors, food and concession stands, and Dutch dancing and costumes will be featured each day.
Tours will be given at the de Immigrant Windmill and antique tractors will be on display on Eighth Street and 14th Avenue.
A “Dutch Treasures Display” will be set up at Masonic Lodge, 1014 Fourth St. There will also be Hindeloopen painting demo and sales, and a stippling display.
Early American crafters will be showcased from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Heritage Canyon, 515 N. Fourth St. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children, and a free shuttle service is available.
Dutch bands will play from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at Awesometown, 518 13th Ave.
The annual street scrubbing will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by the parade at 3.

Also Saturday, there will be a classic car display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fourth Street from 12th to 13th avenues.
A 3-on-3 basketball tournament will run from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.
