Harold Steele brings Lincoln to Princeton Christian Academy

PRINCETON — After a Princeton Christian Academy field trip to view his amazing collections, Princeton farmer and former Illinois Farm Bureau President Harold Steele recently donated a large Lincoln painting and several Lincoln banners to Princeton Christian Academy.

Steele was the recipient of the 2009 Abraham Lincoln National Agriculturist Award after having been inducted into the Lincoln Academy of Illinois in 1999. In the 1980s, Steele served as chairman of the National Commission of Agricultural Finance and later of the board of the Farm Credit Administration.

Princeton Christian Academy is honored to have been chosen to house these items from Steele’s collections.
