Air Force Airmen Maggie C. Gille, Austin C. Seitter (not pictured), Michel W. Schwindenhammer, and Triston J. Houzenga graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.
The airmen completed an intensive, 8-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an Associate in Applied Science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Gille is the daughter of Joseph Gille of Belvidere. She is a 2016 graduate of Rochelle Township High School.
Seitter is the son of Chanin Seitter of Arlington, Texas, and Jennifer (David) Mattingly of Walnut. He is a 2014 graduate of Bureau Valley High School.
Schwindenhammer is the son of Laurel C. Schwindenhammer of Hampton, Virginia, and Thomas L. Schwindenhammer of Rock Falls. He is a 2016 graduate of Pendleton County High School in Franklin, West Virginia.
Houzenga is the son of Melissa Gonzales and Dewey Houzenga of Morrison. He is a 2015 graduate of Morrison High School.
