William W. ‘Bill’ Bluhm

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – William W. “Bill” Bluhm, 66, husband of the late Marcella “Kim” Chronister Bluhm, formerly of Sterling and Rock Falls, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his home in College Station.

Bill was born May 21, 1951, in Sterling, the son of Howard and Leona Bluhm.

Bill graduated in 1969 from Rock Falls High School. He was employed as a carpenter for his whole career. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

Bill is survived by his children, Lawernce Bluhm, Chad Bluhm, and Heather Bluhm, all of Glendale, Arizona; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Bill also is survived by his sisters, Joan Jones of Martinsville, Kathy (Rick) Morris of Lockwood, Missouri, and Karen (Ruben) Celestino of Sterling; brothers, Daniel Bluhm and Thomas (Lysa) Bluhm, both of Rock Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Marcella “Kim”; his parents; and his brother, Lawrence “Larry” Bluhm.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services.
