The Montgomery Economic Development Corporation, the Greater Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, Kendall County and the village of Montgomery have announced a grand opening ceremony for Lucky’s Prime Rib Beef & Dogs on Saturday, Aug. 19.
Sample dogs and burgers will be served starting just after the ribbon-cutting at 1 p.m.
The Manfre family, restaurant owners, have been longtime Montgomery residents and wanted to create a family-friendly place to have a relaxed dinner and allow the children to play. Once the Pizza Hut closed on Douglas Road, they envisioned the location to be the perfect spot for their restaurant. They opened in June and are now looking forward to the grand opening event.
