Austin Rash scored on a 3-yard run, then Austin Schroeder tacked on a 2-point conversion run, as Fulton pulled out a 37-35 decision against Monmouth-Roseville on Friday at Steamer Field.
Schroeder scored three touchdowns in the first quarter to stake the Steamers to a 21-7 lead. He hauled in a 21-yard pass from Bryce Grant, took a 79-yard kickoff return to the house, then scored on a 77-yard run.
The Steamers’ other TD came on a 51-yard TD reception from Grant to Jesse Singh in the second quarter.
Dakota 47, AFC 6: Cody Penick scored on a 55-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter for Raiders in a loss to the Indians at Mel Barron Field in Franklin Grove.
Dakota scored 44 of its points in the first half, ensuring a running clock the rest of the way. Trey Engelbrecht scored on runs of 39 and 24 yards for Dakota, while Mason Peters added TD runs of 12 and 8 yards.
Engelbrecht rushed seven times for 108 yards, while Grant Gallagher carried 10 times for 80 yards.
Penick rushed four times for 60 yards for AFC, while Adam Hart added 16 rushes for 57 yards.
Rockridge 43, Erie-Prophetstown 12: Nathan Parchert rushed rushed 14 times for 160 yards and scored five touchdowns as the Rockets rolled past the Panthers in Edgington.
Parchert scored on runs of 41, 1, 13 and 14 yards. He also hauled in a 27-yard pass from Riley Fetterer.
Garrett Passmore had 14 carries for 73 yards to lead E-P. He had a 1-yard TD run, and Ross Purvis added a 21-yard TD run for the Panthers.
Morrison 26, Hall 14: Aaron Deter and Riley Wilkins each scored a pair of touchdowns as the Mustangs eased past the Red Devils in Spring Valley.
Deter had touchdown runs of 4 and 3 yards. Wilkins opened the scoring with a 3-yard run in the first quarter, and later scored on a fumble recovery.
Anthony Buchanon and Steven Brust had the Hall scores.
West Carroll 44, Pecatonica-Durand 0: The Thunder had little trouble with the Rivermen in Mount Carroll.
