After a drug investigation in the Oregon and Rochelle areas of Ogle County, the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of two individuals on drug delivery charges.
Jeffery D. Parsons, 45, Oregon, was arrested for three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (opioid pills), a class 2 felony.
His bond was set at $50,000.
Edward Rocha, 28, Rochelle, was arrested for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine), a class X and class 1 felony.
His bond was set at $100,000.
Both individuals were taken to the Ogle County Jail to await their first court appearances.
The investigation was conducted by the Stateline Area Narcotics Task Force (SLANT), which consists of officers from the Ogle County Sheriffs Office, Rochelle and Loves Park Police Departments and the Illinois State Police.
