FSA plans retirement sendoff for Paul Legler

Family Service Agency is planning an open house to honor Paul Legler, a child and adolescent counselor who is retiring from the agency after working with the Center for Counseling since 1988.

The open house will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at FSA, 14 Health Services Drive in DeKalb. Current and past staff, board members, clients and community members are invited.

Light refreshments will be provided and those who are comfortable are welcome to share how Legler has positively affected their lives.

In his retirement Legler is looking forward to visiting his adult children more often in Kankakee and Washington state. He also wants to revisit some old hobbies, such as science and fishing.
