Mr. and Mrs. Gail Carr will celebrate 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Gail Carr of McNabb will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Gail Carr and the former Cyndy Marshall were married Sept. 23, 1967, at the Magnolia Methodist Church by the Rev. Richard V. Garabrant. Their attendants were Sue (Satterfield) Oliveri, who was the maid of honor; Marcia (Zimmerman) Shanklin and Carol (Venz) Miller, bridesmaids; Bill Morgensen, best man; Bill Cass and Larry Carr, groomsmen; and Dave Marshall and Duane Carr, ushers.

They are the parents of two children, Damon (Kim) Carr of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Cory (Jack) Craig of Germantown Hills. They also have five grandchildren, Caleb and Hannah Carr, and Carrlee, Carrigan and Carra Craig.

Before retirement, Gail was engaged in farming along with raising livestock. Cyndy operated a beauty salon in their home for many years.
