Louise K. Mathews

MORRISON – Louise K. Mathews, 76, of Morrison, died Wednesday Oct. 25, 2017, at Resthave Home in Morrison. She was employed by Community State Bank in Morrison.

Louise was born Dec. 18, 1940, in Fulton, to Jay and Marjorie (Vos) Buikema. Louise married Joseph R. Mathews on Feb. 14, 1976, in Morrison. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.

Survivors include her husband, Joe; two daughters, Lisa Corcoran of Moline and Angie (John) McGee of Rockford; one son, Bradlee VanderSchaaf of Clinton, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and one brother, Jay (Virginia) Buikema of Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, with the Rev. Gerald H. Norman officiating. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.

A memorial to Rock River Hospice & Home has been established.
