DAR recognizes West Carroll students

MOUNT CARROLL – West Carroll High School seniors recently picked two of their own for honors through the Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution.

Emma Aljets of Thomson, the daughter of Korey and Deana Aljets, was selected as the DAR Good Citizen. She will be honored with a certificate and a pin at a luncheon, along with other area Good Citizen recipients, and will complete in a scholarship contest.

Ethan Reiland of Savanna, son of Jason and Susan Reiland, was chosen as the Sons of the American Revolution Good Citizen. He will receive a pin and certificate from the SAR Kishwaukee chapter.
