Devin Fields

OGLESBY — Devin La’Tre Fields, 21, of Oglesby died Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, in Henderson County, Ky.

Devin was born Oct. 17, 1996, in Kewanee to Olympia Jean Fields and Shawn Scruggs.

He was a graduate of Hall High School in Spring Valley and was a manager at the Jimmy Johns in Peru. He was a singer and musician/artist, and a humble man of God.

He is survived by his parents, Olympia Fields and Shawn (Amy) Scruggs; his daughter, Aliyah Fields of Missouri; his girlfriend, Abigail Sciarini of Oglesby; his foster family, Cyndi and Jack Olson, and Charlie, Emily and Jamie Olson; and numerous sisters and brothers, including Damien Fields, Baker Fields and Anthony Scruggs.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 17, in the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home in Oglesby. A private service will be at noon and burial at Fairview Cemetery in Tonica will follow.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Olson, Shawn Scruggs, Azeem Hosein, Michael Bland, Vlad Stepanov, Nick Kolanowski and John Goreth.
