EAST HAZEL CREST – Brian David Shook, 51, of East Hazel Crest, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2017.

Brian was born March 23, 1966, in Sterling, to Ronald and Kay Shook.

Survivors include his mother, Kay (Ed) Smith of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; brothers, Michael (Shanda) Shook of Sterling and Kevin Shook of Rock Falls; his grandmother, Avis Ratliff of Fort Wayne, Indiana; four aunts and uncles; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Shook; his grandparents, Evelyn and Chester Shook, and Tom Ratliff.

Visitation will be 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, and the funeral at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Harvest Time Bible Church, 1802 Dixon Ave., Rock Falls, with pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating.
