Oswego police arrest Aurora woman for DUI, other charges

An Aurora woman is facing a DUI charge and five other charges after a traffic stop by the Oswego police early Sunday morning.

Oswego police arrested Ashley L. Szymski, 44, of the 2300 block of Georgetown Circle, Aurora, at 3:10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, after stopping her vehicle at Wolf's Crossing Road and Route 30.

In addition to being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, Szymski faces charges of driving in the wrong lane, disobeying a red light, improper parking on the roadway, impeding the flow of traffic, and having no insurance, according to police.

Szymski has a court date of Jan. 22, according to police.
