Suspended license

Yorkville police arrested Paul A. Ceffalio, 26, of the 700 block of Evans Avenue, Genoa, at 11:06 p.m. on Dec. 14 after his vehicle was stopped for a license plate violation. Police said they learned Ceffalio had a suspended driver's license and officers also found drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. Ceffalio was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Improper use of electronic device

Yorkville police cited Sarah McCann, 40, of the 100 block of South 8th Street, DeKalb, at 6:24 p.m. on Dec. 13 with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper use of an electronic device, and having no insurance, after officers were called to a rear-end crash at Route 47 and Cannonball Trail.

Fight between juveniles

Yorkville police responded to a business in the 500 block of South Bridge Street at 8:28 p.m. on Dec. 13 for a report of a fight that had occurred between juveniles in the business's parking lot. The incident is under investigation.

Turned self in for warrant

Yorkville police said Megan Davison, 31, of the 800 block of West Taylor Street, DeKalb, turned herself in to the Yorkville police station at 9:48 a.m. on Dec. 12 as she had a warrant for her arrest for failure to appear in court on a shoplifting charge.
