Ernest A. "J.R." Hanson

ROCK FALLS – Ernest A. “J.R.” Hanson, 64 of Rock Falls, died Friday, Jan. 12 2018, at Mercy Health Hospital in Rockford. He was a retired mechanic.

He was born Aug. 20, 1953.

Survivors include his children, Christopher (Aleshia) Hanson of Addison, Kristy (Jose) Fondeur of Montgomery, Alabama, Angela (Jamie W.) Hanson of Harmon, and Pamela Hanson of Rock Falls; his brother, Gerald Hanson of Rockford; several grandchildren; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, MaryAnn.

A private ceremony was requested.
