Geneva resident Cindy Duckworth was at volunteering at the Geneva History Museum when she answered questions for the Kane County Chronicle's Brenda Schory.
Schory: Where did you grow up?
Duckworth: Wheaton
Schory: Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Duckworth: Anne Hathaway
Schory: First job?
Duckworth: Babysitting
Schory: As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Duckworth: I was open to blowing in the wind. I became a speech and language pathologist and a piano teacher.
Schory: Book or movie you would recommend?
Duckworth: "The Post"
Schory: Favorite charity?
Duckworth: Geneva History Museum and Fox Valley Food for Health
Schory: Favorite ice cream flavor?
Duckworth: Mint chocolate chip
Schory: Are you related to U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth?
Duckworth: No. I married a Duckworth and so did she.
Schory: Favorite local restaurant?
Duckworth: Cotto A Legna in Geneva
Schory: What is an interesting fact about yourself?
Duckworth: I'm a hardcore moderate and there's not many of us anymore. I volunteered as a mediator in small claims court when I lived in Kansas. I heard both sides. People were vicious … over nothing. We worked helping people come together, and sometimes we were successful.
