Letter: Time for action on gun violence

To the editor:

Let's do something about gun violence! Urge your senators to support SB1657, which would require employees of gun shops to undergo background checks, allow law enforcement to inspect gun shops and require video security for gun shops to prevent theft. This bill would help stem the flow of illegal guns in our state and save lives!

And, urge your senators to support a federal ban on assault rifles and "bump stocks."
