WACC names January Students of the month

STERLING – Whiteside Area Career Center has named its January Students of the Month.

They are, by high school:

Amboy: Abril Vazquez, health occupations, the son of Rosa Tapia and Guillermo Vazquez

Ashton-Franklin Center: Kody Schmitto, auto service, the son of Terry Schmitto and Duane Spears; and Jake Mundell, the son of Cindy and Glen Mundell

Dixon: Jose Rodriguez, auto service, the son of Eris Lightner; and Hope Cantu, digital media arts, the daughter of Jesus and Stacie Cantu

Fulton: Rebecca Wiersema, allied health, the daughter of Marla and Jeremy Wiersema

Milledgeville: Jocelyn Folkers, early childhood education, the daughter of Cheryl Rash

Sterling: Brianuna Gordon, culinary arts, the daughter of Lisa Williamson and Raymond Phillips
