Mary A. Blevins

DAVIS JUNCTION – Mary A. Blevins, 42, of Davis Junction, died Friday, March 2, 2018, at her home after an extended illness. She was employed for 23 years with 3M Corp. in Sycamore as a systems analyst.

Mary was born on July 19, 1975 in Standish, Michigan, the daughter of Darrell and Judy (Moore) Hicks. She married Lathe Blevins on Aug. 17, 1996, in Sterling.

Survivors include her husband of Davis Junction; two sons, Jacob and Cody Blevins of Davis Junction; her parents Darrell and Judy Hicks of Inverness, Florida; three sisters, Stephanie (Dan) Helm of Pinconning, Michigan, and Nicole West and Jessica Hicks, both of Inverness, Florida; six brothers, Dale Hicks of Pearl City, David (Katrina) Hicks of Milledgeville, Christopher (Valorie) Hicks of Inverness, Darrell (Dana) Hicks Jr. of Savanna, Matthew Hicks of Sterling, and Terry (Anna) Hicks of Rock Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, and the funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
