Shirley A. Adams

ROCK FALLS – Shirley Ann Adams, 68, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family.

Shirley was born April 21, 1949, in Sterling, the daughter of Thomas and Bernice (Ennis) Holcomb. She married Harold G. Adams on Oct. 29, 1977, in Rock Falls. Shirley was a homemaker who loved her kids and grandkids. She also loved Elvis Presley.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Rock Falls; three daughters, Rebecca (Mike) Klett, Ann Pashon, and Loretta (John) Collin, all of Rock Falls; one son, Jeffery Adams of Rock Falls; one sister, Rosetta Goodwin of Rock Falls; seven grandchildren, Michael Klett Jr., Eric Klett, Rebecca Godin, Shania Pashon, Jeremy Pashon, MacKenzie Collin, and Leland Collin; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Bushman, Autumn Klett, Raegan Klett, Laelah Klett and Kori Pitts; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, two sisters, Sheila Insley and Ruby Pashon; one brother, Thomas Holcomb II; and three sons, Glenn Pashon Jr., Harold G. Adams Jr., and Michael W. Adams.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Private family burial will be at a later date.
