GRANVILLE — Putnam County High School Theatre invites everyone to “Be Our Guest” as they present Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.”
The story tells of Belle (Elly Larsen), a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast (Kaleb Wright), who is really a prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the spell will be broken and he and his castle servants will return to their former selves. Time is running out and Lumiere (Ryan Mooberry), Babette (Olivia Lawley), Mrs. Potts (Anna Mattern), Chip (Maddox Poole), Cogsworth (Ceceilya Taylor) and Madame (Justice Petersen) work together to help the Beast before they are doomed for all eternity.
The show will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15 and Friday, March 16, and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17. Tickets are available at the door or by calling PCHS at 815-882-2800, option 4. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. PCHS students can attend one performance for free. Seating is assigned and doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
