Jacqueline A. DiCaro

AMBOY – Jacqueline A. DiCaro, 74, of Amboy, died Friday, April 6, 2018, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, surrounded by her family.

She was born Dec. 19, 1943, in Chicago, the daughter of Howard and Lena (Lenzi) Pugh. She married Carl A. DiCaro Jr. on Nov. 6, 1965, in River Forest. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1993.

She is survived by her children, Michele (Mike) Plagge of LeMars, Iowa, Anthony DiCaro of Woodridge, Kelly (Sam Taormina) of Amboy, Michael (Kristy) DiCaro of Lakewood, Colorado, and Paul (Alicia) DiCaro of Hanover Park; and nine grandchildren, Gabrielle, Camille, Joscelyn, Justin, Ashley, Andrew, Chelsea, Gino, and Nikko.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Pugh.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Cremation rites will follow, with burial of cremains at a later date at Wayne Township Cemetery in DuPage County.

A memorial has been established.
