Constance Clark

OHIO, Ill. — Constance Jo Clark, a resident of Ohio, Ill., passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Connie was born Dec. 11, 1944, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Joseph R. and Jo Marie (Steele) Bartylak. She was united in marriage to William Clark on March 16, 2001, in Princeton.

Connie attended Leelanau School in Glen Arbor, Mich., and graduated from Principia College in Elsah, Ill., after attending two semesters at the University of Grenoble in France. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, the arts and her work. She was bleesed with close friends who loved and were loved by her.

Connie’s career spanned over 50 years, working for Medicare, General Mills and Thornton’s Chocolates of London. Her work took her all over Europe, Japan and Hong Kong. She was the owner of Giggles, a store for kids in California and Toute Suite Candies of Chicago. She was a partner and founder of BBR Healthcare, Inc. of Princeton.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Bill, of Ohio, Ill.; a son, Gregory Willis (Kathy Kane) of Chicago; a granddaughter, Chloe Kane-Willis of Chicago; and a sister, Diane (Tom) Galbraith of Spokane, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a brother, Joseph.

Cremation rites have been accorded and private services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are through the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
