LAKE VILLA – Timothy O’Toole’s Pub Lake Villa officially opened May 2.
Located at 10 W. Grand Ave. on the site of the former Blackthorn Grille, Timothy O’Toole’s Pub Lake Villa offers similar fare as Timothy O’Toole’s in Gurnee, but skews more as a family pub.
The location covers 5.000 square feet with outdoor dining, and serves 200 customers total. In addition, the Private Villa room accommodates 18 to 30 people for meetings and special events. The outdoor patio seats 48.
Timothy O’Toole’s Pub Lake Villa’s food menu includes such favorites as O’Toole’s Favorite Wings, Reuben Egg Rolls, the Chicago Fire Burger and Fish & Chips. There also is the Big Timmy Challenge. Anyone who finishes it wins an O’Toole’s T-shirt.
Timothy O’Toole’s Pub Lake Villa offers a special kids menu. Kids 10 and under eat free with each adult meal bought from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As a special treat for kids, Holly the Balloon Artist entertains tableside from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays.
“We are thrilled to have brought our ... family-owned brand to Lake Villa and help local officials who have said our arrival will contribute to their efforts to revitalize the area,” said Sara McKinnon, owner of O’Toole’s Pub Group along with her husband, Humberto Martinez Jr.
Timothy O’Toole’s Pub Lake Villa, which offers 24 beers on tap, including local, craft, and domestic beers, is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sundays and Mondays; until midnight Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and until 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
