Dennis Duerst

STERLING – Dennis Duerst, 70, of Sterling, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Dennis was born Oct. 14, 1947, in Princeton, the son of Raymond and Stephanie (Lasota) Duerst.

Survivors include one sister, Sheila Duerst of Dixon, and one brother, Stephen (Deborah) Duerst of Dixon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Duerst.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., and the memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation in Sterling, with the Rev. Peg Williams officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium in Sterling.

A memorial has been established to Happy Tails.
