Tom Murphy of Ottawa will be celebrating his 80th birthday. He was born on July 5, 1938 to the late Tom & Winifred Murphy of Coin, Iowa.
He married his wife, Marlene on May 26, 1961. They have two children, Michael (Jan) Murphy of Atlanta, Georgia & Patrick (Cheryl) Murphy of Medina, Ohio. He also has five grandchildren, Daniel of Cleveland, Ohio, Matthew & Colin of Medina, Ohio, and Katherine & Jessica of Atlanta, Georgia.
Tom retired as a Teacher/Principal at OTHS. He has enjoyed woodworking, golfing, cooking and reading. He has traveled many times, including several trips to Ireland, and loves to share stories about his travels.
