Edward-Elmhurst Health has opened a Sleep Center in Yorkville at 88 W. Countryside Parkway. The location is also home to an Edward-Elmhurst Walk-In Clinic.
An estimated 70 million Americans have a sleep condition, according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Left untreated, sleep disorders can put patients at risk for heart disease and other health issues.
A sleep study can help a physician determine if a patient is suffering from a sleep disorder, such as sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome or narcolepsy.

Dr. Kristin Mock, board-certified in family medicine and sleep medicine, is the medical director of the Edward-Elmhurst Health Sleep Center in Yorkville. Mock received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her internship at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center and residencies at Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation, Cedar Rapids Medical Education Program and University of Washington Medical Center (Seattle). Her clinical interests include family care, pediatrics, sleep disorders and women’s health.
