• Alberto M. Aznarz, 55, of the 8500 block of Christina Avenue, Skokie, was charged July 29 with possession of fireworks. According to reports, Aznarz had brought six boxes of fireworks to a wedding at Fisherman’s Inn in Blackberry Township but they would not let him shoot them off there. Police had found Aznarz shooting off fireworks at Anderson Avenue at Prairie Valley at 9 p.m. The couple had stopped there on their way home to Skokie so he could shoot them off, reports stated.

• Andrew M. Davison, 47, of the 43W000 block of Kenmar Drive, Elburn, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent, speeding, driving without insurance and resisting arrest. Davison was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol after police found a glass mason jar with moonshine in it in his car, reports stated.

• Eric S. Caceres, 29, of the 600 block of Independence Avenue, Elburn, was charged July 15 with domestic battery.

• Timothy P. Eilers, 44, of the 1300 block of Park Drive, Montgomery, was charged June 17 with driving under the influence, improper passing and riving with a revoked license.
