Timothy J. ‘Tim’ Mills

DIXON – Timothy J. “Tim” Mills, 47, of Dixon, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at his home. Tim worked for Raynor Garage Doors as an aluminum door assembler for the past 19 years.

Tim was born June 18, 1971, in Sterling, the son of James E. “Jim” Sr., and Lois “Eileen” (McKenna) Mills. He enjoyed bike riding and spending time on the river. Tim was an avid football fan; his favorite team was the Oakland Raiders.

He is survived by his mother, Eileen Mills; one sister, Michele (Michael) Weber of Arlington Heights; three brothers, Mike of Dixon, Jim (Jodie) of Centennial, Colorado, and Steve (Trisha) Mills of Elburn; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. Rosary service, Friday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls, with Father Richard M. Russo officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon. Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to The Epilepsy Foundation.
