ARLINGTON — Bonnie Sue (Robinson) Lovgren, 58, of Arlington passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, in her home surrounded by her family and friends after a short battle with cancer.
Bonnie was born May 26, 1960, in Mendota to Junior Joseph and Alma Jean "Pat" (Wagner) Robinson. She married Tom Lovgren Sept. 9, 1977, in LaMoille. They have four children.
Bonnie attended LaMoille High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and was an avid reader, crafter and gardener.
Surviving are her husband, Tom Lovgren of Arlington; a son, Matthew (Robin) Lovgren of LaMoille, and their children Macee, Louie, Alex and Alivia; a daughter, Angela (Shaun) Bullington of Princeton, and their children, JT and Lily; a daughter, Melanie (Eric) Engel of LaMoille, and their children, Owen and Corbin; a daughter, Laura (Rich) Shumway of Hyattsville, Md., and their daughter, Astrid; a sister, Diane (Jim) Brandau of Ohio, Ill.; and 13 nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louie and Marjean Lovgren; and a sister-in-law, Cathy.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Community United Methodist Church in LaMoille with the Rev. David Jungnickel officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be private at a later date.
