OREGON – Patricia Marie Wiesner of Oregon died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 2, 1927, in Chicago, the daughter of William and Florence (Rasch) Bryan. Pat’s passion in life were her family and traveling. Through the years Pat was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Pat was known as a world traveler, and recently enjoyed her 18th trip to Africa. Pat was a member of First Baptist Church in Oregon.
She is survived by two children, Richard of Oregon and Claudia (Lowell) Wertz of Kigoma, Tanzania; five grandchildren, Richard Jr., David (Lara), Patrick (Christine), Kimberly (Daniel) Harrison and Luke (Kara) Wertz; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy of 52 years; and daughter-in-law, Linda.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, and the funeral at 7 p.m. Monday at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Oregon, with Jared Cochran, pastor of First Baptist Church in Oregon, officiating. The service will be followed by a private burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
