SYCAMORE – Heartland Bank and Trust Co. has hired Robert Mason as vice president-commercial lending to serve local business customers in DeKalb, Sycamore and surrounding communities.
Located at the bank’s branch at 1985 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, Mason has experience in the financial industry with more than 36 years in business banking, agricultural lending, retail banking and relationship management.
Mason earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He has completed the Commercial Lending School offered by the Illinois Bankers Association and has completed the National Commercial Lending School offered by the American Bankers Association.
Dedicated to the community, Mason is involved with the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce. A member of Hinckley First United Methodist Church, he serves on the finance committee. Originally from DeKalb, Mason has made his home in Hinckley for the past 22 years with his wife, Debra, and their two children.
