Lois I. Christians

MOUNT MORRIS – Lois I. Christians, 89, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, in Oregon Living and Rehab Center in Oregon.

Lois was born Nov. 5, 1928, in Fair Haven, the daughter of Glen and Helen (Isenhart) Wolfley. Lois married Leslie Christians on April 30, 1949, in Chadwick.

Leslie passed away on March 29, 2007. Lois loved camping with family, family gatherings, and singing all kinds of music. She put everyone before herself. Lois attended the Mount Morris Evangelical Free Church.

Lois is survived by her children Lonnie (Cindy) Christians, Fox Lake, and Linda (Rod) Peterson, Mount Morris; four grandchildren Tim Christians, Schaumburg; Stephen (Kathleen) Christians, Chicago; Lucas Peterson, Leaf River; Megan (Jeff) Leo, Schaumburg; one great grandchild Chase; one brother Merle Wolfley, Sterling; and one sister Velma (Al) Randall, Rock Falls.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leslie; granddaughter Karshan, and two brothers Clyde and LaVerne.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mount Morris, with the Rev. Christopher Ausler officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Dixon, IL. Visitation will be held at noon Tuesday until service time in Finch Funeral Home.
