ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Grace Curran, Lincoln-Way Central

Herron: What do you like most about golf?

Curran: There’s pressure on you, and it’s on you to execute shots, and hopefully it pays off in the end.

Herron: What do you like about this year’s team?

Curran: I love our team’s chemistry and how we’re all best of friends and hang out off the golf course, and they truly are like my family.

Herron: What do you like most about competing for Lincoln-Way Central?

Curran: I like the school spirit that we have and the pride of representing Lincoln-Way Central. We love to have people recognize where we come from.

Herron: Who’s your favorite athlete?

Curran: Tiger Woods.

Herron: Who’s somebody that you’d like to meet?

Curran: Justin Thomas.

Herron: What’s your favorite type of food and restaurant?

Curran: Oreos. And El Cortez, since I love Mexican food.

Herron: What’s your favorite class in school?

Curran: A.P. Psychology.

Herron: What do you hope to do in your future?

Curran: I’ll be playing golf at the University of Minnesota, and I’ll study business there.

Herron: What do like to do in your free time?

Curran: I love hanging out with friends and family, reading, watching movies and playing mini golf.

TV show and favorite movie?

Curran: I really love the show
"Big Brother" and "Step Brothers."

Herron: What’s your favorite music and artist?

Curran: I really like country music. Sam Hunt or Keith Urban.

Herron: Where’s the most interesting place you’ve been? Where would you like to visit?

Curran: I got to play golf at Torrey Pines in California. I’d like to visit Ireland and golf there.
