DUI among charges

Sandwich police arrested Joel Morgan, 45, of east Hall Street, Sandwich, after they stopped his vehicle Oct. 14 at 12:27 a.m. on County Line and Gletty Roads in Sandwich. Police said Morgan was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use. He posted bond and was released pending an appearance at the DeKalb County Courthouse in Sycamore next month.

License violation

Sandwich police arrested Socorro Valdiviezo-Gonzalez, 46, in front of his residence in the 400 block of East Church Street Oct. 14 at 2:41 a.m. on a charge of driving while license suspended. Police said Valdiviezo-Gonzalez was able to post bond and was released pending an appearance at the DeKalb County Courthouse next month.

Arrested on three warrants

Sandwich police arrested Scott Senter, 27, of Kees Lane, Sandwich, Oct. 10 at 6:01 p.m. in the 100 block of Kees Lane on warrants issued by Kendall, DeKalb and LaSalle counties for failure to appear in court on prior charges. Police said Senter was unable to post bond and transferred to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville.

Domestic battery arrest

Sandwich police arrested Karina Hernandez, 23, of Suzanne Drive, Sandwich, Oct. 9 at 5:55 a.m. in the 700 block of Suzanne Drive. Police said Hernandez was charged with domestic battery. She was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore pending court proceedings.

Resisting/obstructing charge

Sandwich police arrested Martin Palafox, 27, of East Washington Street, Joliet, in the 200 block of East Church Street Oct. 9 at 9:01 p.m. on a charge of resisting/obstructing a peace officer. Police said Palafox was also wanted on a DeKalb County warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge. He was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore pending court proceedings.

Somonauk man arrested

Sandwich police arrested Chad Kedzierski, 39, of Carolyn Lane, Somonauk, in the 300 block of South Main Street Oct. 5 at 11:42 p.m. Police said Kedzierski was charged with criminal trespass to property. The suspect was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore pending court proceedings.
