Brian Shaw

GRANVILLE — Brian Thomas Shaw, 48, of Granville passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at his residence.

Brian was born Aug. 9, 1970, in Spring Valley to Thomas and Nancy (Hartman) Shaw. He married Kim Picchi on Aug. 23, 2014, in Granville.

He graduated from Putnam County High School. Brian was team leader at Unytite in Peru. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Shaw of Granville; two sons, Bryce and Brayden Shaw of Princeton; one daughter, Hailey Shaw of Princeton; one stepson, Colin Finan of Minooka; his parents, Tom and Nancy Shaw of Granville; his mother-in-law, Rebecca Picchi of Ottawa; and two sisters, Brenda (Dan) Wrobelski of Oglesby and Rhonda (Joe) Bezely of Ladd.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandparents, and an aunt and an uncle.

A celebration of life will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville. Cremation rites have been accorded.
